SHOW UPDATE: SHOW RESCHEDULED, DATE TBD

Because Dallas will be under quarantine until May 4th, we have to push back the show again. A future date is TBD. In the event we have to cancel the show and you would like a refund on your tickets, please email us at fashionshowhockaday@gmail.com and we will complete a refund for you. All ticket sales go to Genesis and WiNGS, regardless if the show happens or not. We are working with the Statler on another date that works best for our community and will keep you updated. Please contact us with any questions or concerns you have. Thank you for your continued support.

WELCOME TO HOCKADAY'S SECOND ANNUAL NONPROFIT FASHION SHOW!

Women making a fashionable impact.

OUR MISSION

We hope that our show will highlight the power of women and empower others to enact change. To accomplish this, we are partnering with two amazing organizations whose missions are focused around empowering women: The Genesis Women's Shelter and WiNGS. These organizations align with our vision for the fashion show to be women-centered. Our models are Hockaday students from Pre-Kindergarten all the way to 12th grade and recently, our brothers at St. Marks School of Texas have partnered with us to model alongside our girls. The models will be showcasing clothes on loan from Genesis' Thrift Store, our sponsor Koch Boutique, and innovative fashion pieces on loan from our partners at WiNGS, Kendra Davis and Traci Crews!

HISTORY

Our founders, Emma Roseman and Varsha Danda, saw the impact young women were able to make, and hoped to spread that same ambition and motivation to others in their community. They started the Hockaday Charity Fashion Show in 2018 to publicize their shared passion for empowering women and the first show benefited The Genesis Women’s Shelter and The Akola Project. They raised over $1000 and generated significant and meaningful impact on the Hockaday community and beyond. In partnership with the Institute for Social Impact, this year's co-chairs Zoe Cote and Inez Johnson aim to make a similar meaningful impact through our show.
